Counterwallet Overview

Counterwallet is a web-based wallet designed for Counterparty, a protocol built on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. Counterparty is open-source and enables users to create and trade digital tokens, as well as write smart contracts.

Counterwallet specifically allows users to store and trade Counterparty's native token, XCP, along with Bitcoin and any Counterparty-created tokens, such as Storj and Bitcrystals. However, it does not support fiat currencies.

All transactions made with Counterwallet are signed with the device being used, and private keys are not stored on Counterparty servers. Any data sent to the servers is encrypted.
