CEX.IO, established in 2013, stands as one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchanges. Originally, it functioned as a bitcoin cloud mining provider until January 2015 when it transitioned into a dedicated cryptocurrency exchange.

CEX.IO offers various ways to buy cryptocurrency, including credit card, wire transfer, or SEPA transfer. Crypto-to-crypto trading is also available, and users can access these features via their web interface or the mobile app, compatible with both IOS and Android.

Supported Fiat Currencies and Cryptocurrencies

The platform allows trading in fiat currencies such as EUR, USD, GBP, and RUB. Additionally, there are eight cryptocurrencies available for trading, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Ethereum, Ripple, Dash, ZCash, and Stellar.

Upon login, users have the option to quickly purchase Bitcoin with Visa or Mastercard, but this convenience comes with significant fees. The fee for using this option is 7%, and there's an additional payment processor fee. However, it's important to note that there are alternative methods to utilize the platform with lower fees. Margin Trading

CEX.IO offers margin trading with leverage options of either 1:2 or 1:3. Opening a margin trade incurs a 0.2% fee, and a rollover fee of 0.1% is charged every four hours. While the exchange provides robust functionality, it's essential to be aware of the associated high fees.
